Local services for people out of work in Raleigh

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a customer-service rep in Raleigh. Any experience at all would help. The library had résumé help and free computer time. Any other programmes worth trying?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
