Local services for people out of work in Pittsburgh - what worked for you?

A neighbour pointed me to a programme that I wish I had known earlier. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. A food pantry near me has evening hours.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Call 211 to hear about local help with food, rent and utilities. It is free and open at all hours.
