Local services for people out of work in Nashville (update)

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a dental hygienist in Nashville. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. A food pantry near me has evening hours. Any other programmes worth trying?

The job club at my workforce centre introduced me to two people who later referred me.
