Local services for people out of work in Knoxville - what worked for you?

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a security officer in Knoxville. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. Any other programmes worth trying?

Call 211 to hear about local help with food, rent and utilities. It is free and open at all hours.

The job club at my workforce centre introduced me to two people who later referred me.
