Local services for people out of work in Knoxville - any advice?

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a bookkeeper in Knoxville. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. What else is out there?

Thanks for this. The library also had printing and a quiet room that I used for phone interviews.
