I want to share what helped me after being laid off as an IT help-desk technician in Knoxville. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. Any other programmes worth trying?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

The job club at my workforce centre introduced me to two people who later referred me.
