Local services for people out of work in Kansas City - first time posting

I found a few free services in Kansas City that I did not know about. I worked as an event coordinator before this. The library had résumé help and free computer time. Any other programmes worth trying?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
