Local services for people out of work in Kansas City

I found a few free services in Kansas City that I did not know about. I am in Kansas City, in case local advice matters. The library had résumé help and free computer time. Has anyone used the tax clinics?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
