Local services for people out of work in Fresno - what worked for you?

I found a few free services in Fresno that I did not know about. I worked as an event coordinator before this. A food pantry near me has evening hours. What else is out there?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
