Local services for people out of work in Detroit - what worked for you?

A neighbour pointed me to a programme that I wish I had known earlier. There are 16 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The library had résumé help and free computer time. Any other programmes worth trying?

The job club at my workforce centre introduced me to two people who later referred me.
