Local services for people out of work in Detroit after 9 years as a social media manager

A neighbour pointed me to a programme that I wish I had known earlier. Any experience at all would help. The library had résumé help and free computer time. Has anyone used the tax clinics?

Thanks for this. The library also had printing and a quiet room that I used for phone interviews.
