Local services for people out of work in Buffalo - what worked for you?

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a sales associate in Buffalo. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. Has anyone used the tax clinics?

The job club at my workforce centre introduced me to two people who later referred me.
