Local services for people out of work in Baltimore - what worked for you?

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a call-centre agent in Baltimore. There are 13 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. Any other programmes worth trying?

Thanks for this. The library also had printing and a quiet room that I used for phone interviews.
