Local services for people out of work in Austin - any advice?

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a paralegal in Austin. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The library had résumé help and free computer time. What else is out there?

The job club at my workforce centre introduced me to two people who later referred me.
