Local services for people out of work in Atlanta (update)

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a bookkeeper in Atlanta. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club.

The job club at my workforce centre introduced me to two people who later referred me.

I found free tax help through a community volunteer programme. It saved me a fee.
