Keeping my phone on while I search - what worked for you?

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I worked as a graphic designer before this. Employers call and email constantly. What else should I consider?

Keep the number you use for job applications, even if you change plans. Employers will call it.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
