Keeping my phone on while I search (update)

I use my phone as my only connection. Some applications need a computer. Did you qualify for any programmes?

I switched to a low-cost plan through my carrier and cut my bill by almost half.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
