Keeping my phone on while I search (update)

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Employers call and email constantly. What did you switch to?

Ask your internet provider about their low-income plan. They rarely advertise it.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
