Keeping my phone on while I search, line cook here

I use my phone as my only connection. It has been a long 20 weeks. I heard of low-cost plans for people with limited income. What else should I consider?

Libraries lend Wi-Fi hotspots in some towns. Mine lent one for three weeks.
