Keeping my phone on while I search, customer-service rep here

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I worked as a customer-service rep before this. Employers call and email constantly. What else should I consider?

Libraries lend Wi-Fi hotspots in some towns. Mine lent one for three weeks.
