Keeping my phone on while I search - any advice?

I use my phone as my only connection. Some applications need a computer.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Libraries lend Wi-Fi hotspots in some towns. Mine lent one for three weeks.
