Keeping my phone on while I search - any advice?

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. It has been weighing on me all week. I heard of low-cost plans for people with limited income.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
