Keeping my phone on while I search after 9 years as a school bus driver

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. It has been a long 21 weeks. Employers call and email constantly. What else should I consider?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

I switched to a low-cost plan through my carrier and cut my bill by almost half.
