Keeping my phone on while I search after 8 years as a warehouse supervisor

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I heard of low-cost plans for people with limited income. What did you switch to?

Keep the number you use for job applications, even if you change plans. Employers will call it.
