Keeping my phone on while I search after 8 years as a call-centre agent

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. It has been weighing on me all week. Some applications need a computer. Did you qualify for any programmes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
