Keeping my phone on while I search after 11 years as a paralegal

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I worked as a paralegal before this. Some applications need a computer. What else should I consider?

Ask your internet provider about their low-income plan. They rarely advertise it.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
