I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. Any experience at all would help. I heard of low-cost plans for people with limited income.

Libraries lend Wi-Fi hotspots in some towns. Mine lent one for three weeks.

Keep the number you use for job applications, even if you change plans. Employers will call it.
