Keeping my phone on while I search - 6 months and counting

My home internet costs more than I can manage on unemployment. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I heard of low-cost plans for people with limited income. What else should I consider?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Ask your internet provider about their low-income plan. They rarely advertise it.
