Keeping my phone on while I search - 4 months and counting

I use my phone as my only connection. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Employers call and email constantly. What else should I consider?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
