Just wanted to say thanks - what worked for you?

I posted here 9 weeks ago when I was panicking about my layoff as a nurse's aide. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Two tips made a real difference: keeping a log and asking for help early. Is there anything I can do for others?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
