I posted here 26 weeks ago when I was panicking about my layoff as a dental hygienist. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Two tips made a real difference: keeping a log and asking for help early. What would help newcomers most?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
