I posted here 24 weeks ago when I was panicking about my layoff as a barista. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I am still searching but I have a plan. What would help newcomers most?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
