Just wanted to say thanks after 17 years as a teaching assistant

I posted here 23 weeks ago when I was panicking about my layoff as a teaching assistant. Two tips made a real difference: keeping a log and asking for help early. What would help newcomers most?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
