Just wanted to say thanks - 7 months and counting

I posted here 2 weeks ago when I was panicking about my layoff as an HR coordinator. It has been a long 2 weeks. I feel calmer and more organised now. What would help newcomers most?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
