Just wanted to say thanks - 12 months and counting

I posted here 2 weeks ago when I was panicking about my layoff as a payroll clerk. Two tips made a real difference: keeping a log and asking for help early. Is there anything I can do for others?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 12 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
