Is there a group for job seekers near Omaha? (update)

Working alone has been isolating since my layoff as an electrician's helper. Any experience at all would help. I am open to people from any field. Would anyone like to start one?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
