Is there a group for job seekers near Kansas City? after 4 years as an event coordinator

I would like to meet others who are job hunting in Kansas City. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I am open to people from any field. What format worked for you?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
