How do you organise your week after a layoff? - what worked for you?

Since my layoff as an insurance claims processor I have no real structure. Any experience at all would help. I also want time to exercise and to see people. How many hours do you really work on the search?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
