How do you organise your week after a layoff? - what worked for you?

I want a realistic schedule for the week that does not burn me out. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
