How do you organise your week after a layoff? (update)

I have been out of work for 7 weeks and my days blur together. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. What does your day look like?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
