How do you organise your week after a layoff? (update)

Since my layoff as a store manager I have no real structure. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Some days I do nothing and feel guilty. How many hours do you really work on the search?

I aim for three focused hours, then stop. More than that and my applications got worse.
