How do you organise your week after a layoff? (St. Louis)

Since my layoff as a hotel front-desk agent I have no real structure. Any experience at all would help. Some days I do nothing and feel guilty. How many hours do you really work on the search?

I aim for three focused hours, then stop. More than that and my applications got worse.

Write a short list the night before. Waking up with a plan is a relief.
