How do you organise your week after a layoff?, payroll clerk here

I have been out of work for 3 weeks and my days blur together. It has been weighing on me all week. Some days I do nothing and feel guilty. How many hours do you really work on the search?

I use one day for networking, one for applications and one for learning something. Variety helps.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
