How do you organise your week after a layoff? (Minneapolis)

Since my layoff as a mechanic I have no real structure. I am in Minneapolis, in case local advice matters. I also want time to exercise and to see people. How many hours do you really work on the search?

I aim for three focused hours, then stop. More than that and my applications got worse.
