How do you organise your week after a layoff?

I have been out of work for 8 weeks and my days blur together. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. How many hours do you really work on the search?

Write a short list the night before. Waking up with a plan is a relief.
