How do you organise your week after a layoff? - any advice?

I have been out of work for 21 weeks and my days blur together. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some days I do nothing and feel guilty. What helps you switch off?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
