How do you organise your week after a layoff? - any advice?

Since my layoff as a school bus driver I have no real structure. I worked as a school bus driver before this. I also want time to exercise and to see people. How many hours do you really work on the search?

I aim for three focused hours, then stop. More than that and my applications got worse.
