How do you organise your week after a layoff? - any advice?

I have been out of work for 5 weeks and my days blur together. I am in Albuquerque, in case local advice matters. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon.

Write a short list the night before. Waking up with a plan is a relief.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
