How do you organise your week after a layoff? - any advice?

I have been out of work for 18 weeks and my days blur together. There are 16 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. How many hours do you really work on the search?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
