How do you organise your week after a layoff? after 15 years as an accounts payable clerk

Since my layoff as an accounts payable clerk I have no real structure. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. How many hours do you really work on the search?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
